A Letter to Our Clients about COVID-19

To our valued clients,
Our number one concern is for the health and safety of our team members and clients. We are closely monitoring the situation surrounding COVID-19 (the Coronavirus) and following the procedures and guidelines as outlined by the CDC and state and local government. We hope you find the memo below informative and that it addresses some of your questions and concerns.
The following policies and procedures have been put in place at all of our locations:
Frequent cleaning of our lobby and conference rooms will be done before and after each closing including the wiping down of all surfaces.
Upon arrival, clients will be provided a blue ink pen to keep as well as the attorney’s business card who is facilitating the closing. Clients are being asked to take a photo of their government issued identification and email it directly to the instructed attorney.
All doors will be left open during business hours to make the entry and exit from our office hands-free.
All communal snacks and candy have been removed from the lobby and conference rooms.
Coffee will be served in disposable coffee cups.
Hand sanitizer and tissues are available in our lobby and each closing room.
If any of our attorneys or staff feel ill or suspect that they may have come in contact with someone with COVID-19, they are asked to stay home and self-quarantine for a minimum of 14 days.
Each employee of MMH has been instructed to follow the CDC’s steps to preventing illness including, but not limited to, frequent hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes with their elbow, disinfecting their workspace frequently and avoiding contact with their face.
As of today, March 14, 2020, closings will take place in our offices as scheduled. We do not anticipate closing any of our locations at this time, but we are monitoring the situation and will follow the advice or specific instruction made by federal, state and local authorities.
We will waive split closing fees for parties who are not available to attend closing at their designated time. If your closing is a CASH transaction, the entire closing can be done remotely and we will assist in facilitating that upon request.
These are extraordinary circumstances we’re living in and we appreciate the continued partnership, support and understanding as we navigate these uncertain times. We are available to answer any questions you may have about the details you’ve read above or to discuss your transaction specifically.
