Leveraging Social Media for your Real Estate Biz is a class designed to help real estate agents learn how to use and optimize their time on social media for their business.
This course will help agents to develop brand awareness, foster community engagement, extend their reach online and create a strategy around effective use of the medium. Also, agents will learn the proper ways to post content as it applies to listings per the GREC regulations as well as proper social media etiquette. Several platforms will be discussed, but the emphasis will be on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
In a recent report, 29% of home buyers find their real estate agent via an internet search. Lets make sure you have an online presence versus just being present online in order to capture and convert more leads in 2019!
The course will be taught by Megan Blanks. Megan is currently the Marketing & Social Media Director of McManamy McLeod Heller, LLC real estate closing law firm. Megan has a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Journalism from Valdosta State University. Megan has held a Georgia Real Estate License since 2007. She was a full time Pre-Closer at McManamy McLeod Heller from 2009 until August 2017 when she became the Marketing Director for MMH. She has managed and operated the firm’s social media platforms since October 2017. After 12 years working with agents and hearing about their struggles with incorporating social media into their marketing and brand strategy, she started Southbound Social in November 2018. Southbound Social is a Social Media Consulting company geared towards helping real estate agents properly, ethically and effectively use social media for their business.
