MMH’s Newest Attorney: Meet Ma’Kishia Anderson

Ma’Kishia is an Atlanta native who obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University in 2001, and a Juris Doctorate from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in 2006.

Ma’Kishia practices in Residential & Commercial Real Estate law, with a focus on Residential Real Estate.  She has experience working with and representing institutional lenders, buyers, sellers, and agents to help consummate a smooth residential or REO closing within a timely fashion.  Additionally, she has represented various governmental entities such as FNMA and Freddie Mac with the disposition of real estate within their foreclosure portfolios. 

Over the course of 14 plus years, Ma’Kishia has become extremely knowledgeable with all areas of title.  She has the ability to identify complex matters within the Southeast region revealed from exams and knowledge to cure issues as required by title underwriters.

Outside of the legal profession, Ma’Kishia enjoys spending time with her husband, Antwon, as they enjoy playing golf together, bicycle riding and traveling.  Ma’Kishia is a mom to two boys, Malik (7) and Ammon (2).  She spends a lot of time helping the Brookwood Broncos with basketball, football, and baseball. GO BRONCOS!!!  As she is a avid ATL FAN, Ma’Kishia also is always tuned in to or attending a live Hawks or Falcons (yes Falcons, win or lose) games.
