A few years back, Realtor.com published an article called, “8 Signs You Should Walk (and Maybe Run) Away From a Home”.

Buying a house is a huge commitment and likely the largest purchase most people will make in their lifetime.  Doubts will arise, but which ones should you take seriously and which ones should you ignore?  Is it just cold feet or is there more to your reservations that deserve further consideration?

Here’s the list of the eight signs the article listed:

No. 1: The inspection turns up something majorly wrong

No. 2: You sense that the builder cut corners

No. 3: Your title company uncovers an issue

No. 4: The house is too unusual

No. 5: You suspect your home might be environmentally contaminated
